Has to be the worst airport ever and an embarrassm...

Has to be the worst airport ever and an embarrassment to a capital city. Passport control is right next to the one security checkpoint at each gate. This leads to massive delays and queues at the gate. Especially as the security staff are more interested in chatting to each other than actually scanning your items.

All in all an embarrassment to the airline industry and Germany

Recommend. Going straight through after check in. Sit with your iPad/kindle and wait it out. Only airport I arrive extremely early at because of its ineptitude
