5 for low cost , far away from any city. Nearest is Mainz then Wiesbaden and Frankfurt . Personal is not so friendly. Could be better. It has changed in few years as i travel but lil more would be nice . Has mc donalds , rent a car , shops and every 2 hours bus to Mainz .( Flibco bus )
This place is horrible !! Is verry verry small..No electrical outlet near the seats ..cold..And the workers was verry rude. They didnt want to speak English . i think that when you work in airport you have to speak English to the passengers .I do not have to know German to take some informations. Also the price's in the stores was unbelievable .. One McDonald one kiosk one store with suvenirs and 4 fastfood . All of them except the McDonald 20:30 was closed . i buy water 4.50 the small bottle !! There was 2 bus station but only for morning...the tickets for frankfurt was 16 but for all the day was only 4-5 buses and no bus for evening or night. No telephone for emergency call .No faucet to drink water in the night when all the stores is closed. Also i really dont think that the police was enough. Is airport and they have to protect us more.
Airport far from the city center of Frankfurt, the only way to reach the city is the bus which costs 19.00 one way, takes about 2 hours.
Have friends picked up and parked in the parking garage Opposite, There was a delay so that I would have to pay for 2 hours and 2 minute parking fabulous 12 . Outrageous. The airport itself serves only as off and approach, nothing more
Worst airport in Germany. Dirty toilets, very small places to stay while your airing. And now about 2 hours late.
Far from the cities it is a fact - not only geographical, but also cultural! Arrogant check-in staff, not at all polite, speaking (shouts) only in German! Cramped waiting spaces and duty free (and shops) abundantly under every standard, for low quality at crazy prices. Waiting for bus lines without clear indications on how to reach them - on the other hand misleading info for private bus lines. Mah!
The staff do take control cintute, shoes and sweaters for cosmetics .. then you have to get out of the line to buy a plastic bag where put them (someone explain to me what's the use). All in a rude and surly way. They will do their job well and I don't ask that they are nice, but at least polite! ... nice memory to leave to tourists!
A very small airport, very manageable. Dining options are available.
Small airport in the middle of nowhere. Normal standard. There are massive deductions for the incompetent and extremely unsympathetic employees at Security Check In.
Difficulty reaching the destination city by public transport, especially in the evening with the last flights
If I can give a negative star, I really want to award it to this airport. It is far away from the city. It takes more than two hours by bus. There are buses to the city every hour, but there are not necessarily buses from the city to the airport. Surprise or surprise The attitude of the service staff is extremely poor! ! ! Because the airport does not accept UnionPay credit card payment, the 40 shipping fee cannot be paid, even if I lose my luggage, I will not let me get on the plane! The worst airport in history, there is no more garbage airport, and the facilities are very poor. The small one is like a plastic shed built at zero hours. To tell the truth, I don t even want to give this star. By the way, because of my scanner problem, The machine rang from head to toe to my feet, and my shoes and thin coat were still ringing. I felt that the security check was almost torn off my pants and cut my flesh to see if there was metal in it.
Joke airport and and joke airline Ryanair. Cash 55 at the airport for ticket printing. Totally uncomfortable seats in the plane and totally tight. Since the S-Bahn is so comfortable.
Frankfurt secondary airport What you save on the flight you spend on transportation and time
A small airport. Far from the big city. About two hours to Frankfurt.
If you just want to fly somewhere cheap here is in good hands. But you should not expect more. Parking in parking lot 3 was also OK. The toilet was but then disgusting, because everything is overloaded and in my opinion there are too few Toilleten. Everything is the simplest and cheapest thing there is. The two bakeries offered after our return not even at 15:00 o'clock a bread to which one would have taken with pleasure on the way home. With snacks and sandwiches can be earned more. Competition would do well in this area.
Small but decent airport. It is mainly served by the Rayanair flight company. It is bad that it is quite far from Frankfurt, and you have to get yourself a bus ticket which price is not low. Poor and basic toilet facilities. The only positives are the presence of three cafes and the fact that the airport is quite tidy.
The airport is the best thing that could have happened in the region.
Very comfortable, small but at the same time it offers many services: large bathrooms with all toilets, for eating there are many types of small restaurants, sandwich bars of various kinds.
Easy access, well indicated. Parking at the airport, but also in the village (10 minutes walk from the terminals) next door with the possibility of leaving his car at the inhabitant (eg 3 / per day).
Only one.a real crap to get to mannheim it takes 6 hours and a half.x charity never again.
Small and good, everything you need, not too busy and also connected with significantly less stress, check in and boarding very fast
I like to fly from Hahn, it always works without problems u I'm fast there
No rental car available when you arrive. So far from Frankfurt it might as well be called Brussels! Another garbage Ryanair airstrip in a goat patch!
Small cozy and old airport. I absolutely love the fact that you can park extremely cheaply, especially without the annoying transfer. How to get upset about the location of the airport is also a mystery to me. You look beforehand where the thing is and then decide whether you want to fly from there or whether it's too far. The connection is certainly bad, you will not find a long-distance bus route, but you can also check that beforehand and not afterwards. If you want to fly cheap, you have to put up with this. If that doesn't suit you, you can fly from Munich and pay double for the flight. We were satisfied and would fly from here again. It is an absurdity, however, like everywhere else, that you are not allowed to take a small water bottle through the security checkpoint. Okay security, I understand that and can live with it. But if you then ask in the waiting area of the gate over 3 euros for a little water bottle (the box costs 1.80 without deposit), you just rip off.
Very poor connections to surrounding cities. Consider other options if arriving later than 20:00. Bad service to costumer and there are very limited space.
Can't believe its called Frankfurt_Hahn. Not even remotely close to Frankfurt and transport links are non existent besides a bus every two hours. The airport itself was average. The usual low budget rubbish without any real facilities. Unless you had a super cheap flight after you pay the bus fare and spend 2 hours traveling there its not worth it..
The airport is very large. I had several transfers there. While flying one line with a change there is no problem then different lines can be a problem because the gates are often very far from each other.
Clean, not very crowded, security control goes pretty fast. Men's toilets should be cleaned a little more often, it is only an international airport, it is Germany and not a 2 lei gas station in the country !! Shame !! We will withdraw a star until next time I go in control;))
Actually a good little airport. Unfortunately, with heavily intermarried security personnel in control. Some are very different on the other hand as assi as on the Fraport
Only one gate is open and there are several flights assigned to it. That results in a crowd of people. Best club experience during the pandemic, would give it 6 stars if I could.
It is an enormously large place, so much so that it is very easy to get lost. More if you are on a flight connection and do not speak German. Economically the place is very expensive and expensive. There are many luxurious stores but for silver people. On the other hand, the bathrooms are neat and you have chairs and loungers where you can rest and sleep.
It's so cool. Small is the airport but it's OK !! I always fly from there to Poland And I have never had any problems, except that I am after the Heart Surgery and I have a prosthesis in there and all the wires are always squeaking on the gates, but if you have the right documents, there is no problem
Airport very clear, because small. Parking is sufficient. Ryanair a complete disaster.
Pretty far off the beaten track. Driving way too expensive to pick up people! The exit is from the army camp time.
Old and outdated. Did security for a charter. Very pleasant staff.
No goodwill - get charged twice when parking. Unfortunately, instead of the debit card, I used my credit card to drive in and out while parking. Then I was parked for a week parking around 100 euros too much. From "goodwill" I was issued a coupon for about 30 euros. That's almost offensive ...
Good and cheap parking possibility. Airport is super small and so is the choice of food and drinks. However, good for a quick holiday flight
It's enough to fly, is already getting old. Staff was nice.
It is small airpot and not have enough space for waiting place (chair)before passenger check in :(
Suffice it to say that they charge more than 3 euros for a bottle of water. To be ashamed
Small airport. Today, with Ryanair flying to Tenerife, the only machine was at noon. Priority / no priority thousand signs no order. Everywhere are the signs, but these are meaningless around. There is no system here. Even with the security check: first a line. Only gradually became 2. + 3. Line opened. The toilets behind Gate 2 stink so badly that it burns in the nose. Parking fees 79 a week, in ddorf you get a parking space for 59 a week, in the parking garage. Conclusion: only expect nothing, here is only processed. I feel like in a GDR airport. Update, there is only one star: Now we have landed, we are already waiting for our luggage forever, ideally you use a band for 2 machines instead of using the other band. We drove 230 km, but as is sometimes the case with provincial airports, provincial. If I had the choice, I would avoid the airport and dodge on Frankfurt o. I'm not surprised that Ryanair is pulling off machines. Oh yes, parking is more expensive here than at major airports ... 1 week outside Parking 95 ; and the airport does not seem to matter anyway, otherwise he would have written something about the negative reviews.
Frankfurt International Airport Frankfurt is the second largest airport in Europe with more than 55 million passengers and about 480,000 flights per year, an important hub for international transport. Passengers can choose from 134 airlines to Frankfurt to around 300 destinations worldwide. Due to the high number of passengers, the connections connecting Frankfurt Airport are very important. Near the airport of the Frankfurter Kreutz, it is the most dynamic highway intersections in Europe, making it easy to reach for cars. In addition, the airport has the Intercity Express train station and a regional train station at Terminal 1. About 170 express trains a day take passengers to the airport. The regional train station is dedicated to the regional and local trains of the Rhine-Main Transport Authority, and the passenger information service is provided through the Transit Information Center. There is also a bus stop in front of the arrival halls of Terminal A. The Lufthansa airport bus takes passengers more than once a day to and from Mannheim, Heidelberg, Augsburg, Marburg / Jessen and Strasbourg
A small ugly airport with unfriendly staff. The only thing good about this airport are the low-cost flights you can catch from it.
wonderfully comfortable airport, (long-term) parking for little money, short distances, fast security checks
Bullying is capitalized among colleagues. The airport is front Ui and rear fie. Tools obsolete.
Nice, small and clear airport, which hopefully will be preserved for a long time
Why do you need an airport in the middle of the province?
My passage at this airport was excellent so much that it is small that it is easily manageable
Employees at ryan air ticket office slippery & unfriendly
Staff very poorly trained. Security delays us deliberately, they found a black spot in the bag, they made such a situation with a security guard with a gun, and finally there was only a toothbrush in the backpack. NO Nice Staff. I advise against flights from this airport
Connecting flights in this hub are just a nightmare! I don't know whether there are renovations going on but this is utterly crazy. If there is such a huge airport, connections are supposed to run smoothly! Instead you get to your gate sweating like crazy! I couldn't even look at the shops or restaurants there, because I was trying not to miss my flight. Please, please, please, sort this out. It's just a mad race to gates if it stays like this.
One of my favorite airports! Not too big, usually no long waiting times, everything you need - and I'm thankful that it exists for our flights to Kerry / Ireland. Parking cheap (for only 3 per day) about 500m further in Lautzenhausen possible.
An airport of extra class! Have never seen such an uncomfortable, yet small airport. The prices are extremely high even before the security and the journey is very arduous. Wi-Fi was barely available and most cafes point to the T-mobile online hotspot, which offers very slow and limited internet. The staff was also not very helpful. I will try to avoid this airport in the future
Wanted to register tax free, could not find anyone from customs, and no one could help us in this airport
It will be ugly as an airport but efficient. I've never had the problems I had at Paris CDG or Frankfurt international here
Everything is fine, but I can see that some of the commentators confuse Hahn airport (a small airport mainly cargo and charters) is exactly 114 km from the Frankfurt airport which is actually one of the largest in Europe. And the golf course next door is really nice.
Fool some people. Why not just Hahn Airport !? But otherwise it's a very good airport for nearby villages. I think you should enlarge your airport and build more gates. You need a faster chek in and an extra small terminal for Ryanair and a cargo terminal
It's ok, the airport. Closer to some localities. It saves time compared to Frankfurt airport
maybe I'm not leaving here ... but always nice to visit the airport. I hope it will be around for a long time!
Just enough time on layover for cheap beer, cheaper bakery and a clean bathroom. Feelsgoodman
No airport, rather a large warehouse between the parking lot and airfield. No seating, hardly any restaurants, dirty toilets. Low budget at every turn.
My son got thrown a little nerf. I can't believe my son after a week is still crying
There is a lack of services and you can only get there from Frankfurt's main airport through a bus that takes about 2 hours
A little aerator, there is McDonald's out there for a bite to eat and plan the next steps. But in general, I liked everything simple and without unnecessary elements. The only thing that confused me, when you go out there is a terrible smell of manure. The feeling that he flew not to Germany, but somewhere to his grandmother in the suburbs)
