Taking a 4 year old boy who is just over one metre...

Taking a 4 year old boy who is just over one metre tall is not good when he can see rides he wants to go on but isn't able to access. The small children's rides should be totally separate from those aimed at older children and adults. They should just have an area for them where everything appropriate is confined in one space.
I found the directions and sign posts confusing. Having visited the zoo in the late 60s I thought it would have developed into something more exciting. Sadly not. Too sprawling. Poor directions. Depressed looking animals though we didn't see too many. Were there elephants, giraffes, chimpanzees?
Wouldn't visit again and we only live 3 miles away. Very disappointed.
