So I had higher hopes for this place. Granted it the off season but they seemed understaffed. The rooms were updated and clean. The food was not at all good. Breakfast was expensive and very underwhelming. No concieriage level. You can get a better meal at waffle house. The staff was very nice. We did have to wait for our rooms. We were an hour early but when traveling with a handicapped person this sometimes happens. No apologies were made not that they need to be but sitting in the lobby with a wheel chaired bound person gets a bit old fast. We had 3 rooms in total for the weekend. I do not believe this hotel offers 2 queen size beds as an option only 2 doubles. We moved into the bar to have an adult beverage. No one came by to give us the status of our room or to offer to comp our modest bar tab ( beer). Not that we expect this but the gesture would have gone a long way. If you are expecting a premium service you will be dissapointed. The handicap room we were given had a tub instead of a shower, which is no good. It did have a hand rail. There were not enough towels in the rooms. For a room with two doubles you need more than 2 towels, they did come promptly when called for. This is a typical marriott resort property though, the grounds are beautiful and relaxing. You will pay for wi fi, water bottles, and breakfast. If you are a rewards member like us, and are loyal to Marriott one of the other lower level properties would actually be a better value, if you are expecting even remotely premium (Ritz) service this will not fit your expectations.
