They will take the time to listen to what you want. Don't trust any installer that is pushy and tries to rush your decision. When it comes to the details of the installation, work with the installer on selecting the heights any hanging fixtures. There is no science to this, and what is best for you depends on your height and personal preference, especially for pendant lighting over your bar.
