The staff was wonderful and the rooms were very clean and stayed true to classic, traditional design. However, there were no bathrobes, hot water, water pressure or a vent fan in the bathroom. The water was warm at best and barely trickled out of the "hydro massage" shower head. We also had to have the drain unclogged when we got there. The receptionist was very understanding and did offer a room change, or a free breakfast. Not wanting to move so late in the evening we accepted the breakfast. Although it was free, it was a good incentive never to order food there. The biscuits were really old and had mold on them. This hotel is so sweet and has a lot of potential! If management can iron out the kinks that could potentially reduce its star rating, it would be outstanding.
