I think what they post on Monster is fake, just to get you to register. As soon as you go to their office, the position is filled. And when you see something else online and call them right away to say "wait a minute you have something, you just posted it on your site", they say oh it was filled so quickly, within hours... Yeah right! They will do anything to have as many people registered so they have choice. But for you, you will have to be lucky to get something. I think they have 100 times more applicants than they have jobs.
