Romantic city. Very impressive landscape with both sea and mountains! Delicious food, try osmizas!. On the boarder with Slovenia and Austria, so in Trieste you can experience a mixture of different cultures. I would define Trieste a "must go" city, also nice because it is a city not crowded as Venice or Florence, so you can appreciate in relax all the cultral stuff in it ;)
