I didnt want to bring my wife here based on the other reviews, but I didnt want to go elsewhere with her being in so much pain either. I'm glad we are here. I do recognize that others have had issues, but so far our experience here hasnt been too bad.
I will say this, since I've been here the past 5 days straight, the emergency room seems to get packed at night. Like no real room to sit. During the day, espwcially mornings, it seems more of a walk in and get seen sooner.
We are in emergency, and have been here since Mother's Day. Bridgette has been THE BEST! Shirley as well! Brenda was pretty good. Shift just changed and we now have Sophie and I'm pretty sure we will love her.
Here's what made the difference, they were more conversational. They showed concern. Instead of treating us like patients with an illness, they asked questions to "get to know" us. I appreciate Sophie, Bridgette and Brenda going into detail about my wife's issues, possible goals, and why she may be having certain problems in hospital (nothing they did, just the process of healing and being here for a while).
So I thank this hospital for the hospitality they have shown.
