Update: I picked up my camper after 5 months to the day of bringing it in. They had not repaired the stabilizer jack, the propane manifold, fridge or completed the safety inspection. I was told the owner instructed the staff not to return my calls. I showed them the phone records proving I had not called them 14 times in a day. They have chosen not to correct their response. Judge for yourself.
Original review. If I had known their service would be so bad, I would never have bought my 2019 Forrest River camper from them. My new 2019 camper has been with them for three months and counting mainly for a refrigerator problem. I will update this review until it gets repaired. Since April (2020) my phone calls have consistently gone unreturned, promises to return calls when I do talk to them have been meaningless. I have spoken to literally everyone in the service department front office over the past three months (names could easily be listed but I will refrain from making this personal for now). I understand that Covid has disrupted their supply chain but it has not kept them from communicating with me, calling when they say they will and following up as they promised. Their response to this post will likely attempt to divert away from their failed customer service and focus on the effect of Covid. Covid has not prevented them from calling when they said they would. On 7/24 I went into their office and the service manager told me that he had been told my parts would ship on 8/3 and Cliff Jones would call me on 8/4 to confirm they had shipped. I watched them write a reminder to themselves to call me. True to form, no call so I called them a week after their promise date. Parts didn t ship and once again they failed to call me as promised. On 8/12 I went into the office and complained to a manager (outside of service department). I was told (on 8/13) that he would give me an update first of next week . On 8/21 I called him because yet again no returned call. Time and time again, broken promises. He had no update and said he d call on Monday 8/24 by 10AM with an update. Runaround after runaround. I will keep this review updated as we go along so others looking to buy a camper can see what s in store for them when it comes time for the inevitable repairs.
Update: I have never called your office 14 times in a day or anything close to that.
