Spent a week in Steigenberger Mallorca and returned with contradictory experiences. The hotel complex, the refurbished rooms (however overlooking the farm buildings of the hotel and only with partial views of the golf course), the facilities are overall the standard of hotel classification appropriate. The same applies to the food in terms of breakfast and in the restaurant (... if it was open, which the staff was not always known in advance, then you were, however, very "among themselves ..."). Unsatisfactory - the service, especially the lack of competence and (in) friendliness of the reception staff. Again and again unconcrete and false information, always the questioning customers as a petitioner, always very formal. Exception - the motivated and very friendly and helpful staff of valet parking. The handling and handling of disturbances, e.g. by a nocturnal false alarm, simply unprofessional and unworthy of such a house. The exaggerated and patchy, unnatural friendliness of the management assistant is more appropriate for a hotel with guest animation. The overall atmosphere in the house rather stiff, arrogant and not easy. So an ambiguous stay with a clear optimization potential in management and in personnel and organizational development. We will not be back.
