Let me start bv saying I was really skeptical to stay here reading some of the reviews that people wrote but let me just reassure anyone who is having doubts, this is an AWESOME hotel. When we first arrived the bell men greeted us and asked if we wanted valet service which is $20 and I advised him that we didn't but instead we would be doing self-parking which is $13 a day. We went into the lobby and was greeted so kindly by the reservationist. Elsie was her name I believe. She was Trinidadian. We were originally on the 7th floor but she asked us were we comfortable with that ask we asked to go higher so she put us on the 21st floor. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!!! They room was practically spotless except for the lamp in between the beds needed a little dusting. No mold, no residue or anything that would make us feel uncomfortable. The workers at the hotel was the friendliest people that you can meet. Our 2nd night there as we arrived back to the hotel, there was a Trinidadian older black gentleman that was working the gate and in a sweet soft voice he told us, WELCOME HOME!!!! OMG, I don't know why but that made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I was really looking forward to seeing him the third night but he was off that night. The house keepers were awesome. The first two days we had Trinidadian house keepers and the third day we had Hispanic house keepers. All of them were very helpful. On check out day, they did not rush us what so ever. Our stay was from 3/29/13-4/1/13 and we stayed in room 2112. I wish we could of stayed longer but of course, we had to get back to reality. This hotel is close to everything and the help is constantly cleaning around the clock!!!! The only down part is the self parking. OMG, there is a 5 minute walk from the parking garage to the elevators. This was my only problem the entire stay. Especially when you are carrying things to and from your room. If I could change anything that is what it would be. Other than that, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE HOTEL!!!! There was a Pakistani wedding going on while we were there, BEAUTIFUL.
