On 7/4/13 I bought a 2005 Pontiac Vibe AWD with 92,300 miles on it from Ray Chevrolet. It was in service at the time having the safety inspection done and it also needed to have the differential replaced. In the deal they gave me a 60 day warranty, but they made it effective on 7/4 while I didn't finish paying for the car until 7/16 when work was completed. I asked to have it be made effective upon possession but they wouldn't. They did replace the front brake pads and rotors, and it took 12 days to install a used differential, which I thought they were putting a new one in. My salesman Greg Kloczkowski kept me informed every couple of days on the progress of the repairs. Ray also replaced the right rear taillight that was broken as they said they would, because it was a safety issue. When I took the car home and went to rotate the tires I found that the lug nuts were rounded off and the 21mm tire iron would not fit on the lug nuts. I had to replace all 20 and asked Ray to pay for them on the safety issue. They refused! After 5 days and 200 miles the front pinion seal on the differential was leaking. Ray Suzuki did replace it, under the warranty, in one day and gave me a loaner car for the day.
As with other dealers, Ray is no different, check out the car that you are buying and have everything that they owe you on a list in writing.
My salesman Greg Kloczkowski did a good job of helping me, and if you are going to buy a car from Ray Chevrolet, he will go the extra to help you.
