I just had back surgery on 7-28-17 and could not have asked for better care during my stay.The nurse I had in my room before surgery took excellent care of me and my wife during our short wait until surgery.The anesthesiologist team came in and talked to me about their role in getting me ready prior to surgery. My neurosurgeon Dr Borsallino came in and went over the procedure again with my wife and I and made sure we understood everything and to answer any questions we may have had. After the micro descectomy on my L5-S1herniated disc I was pain free from severe sciatica due to the compressed nerves. The only pain that I have now is at the incision site and it is minimal. My wife and I are very pleased with the care I received and the outcome of the surgery. Thank you Novant total health and spine,and Novant medical center in Charlotte NC.
