I was absolutely blown away with the kind of tele support I just received so I wanted to show my support to Puget System and the rep who helped me, DJ! It is becoming increasingly rare to find companies who value their customers enough to have friendly and highly knowledgeable representatives on-board (whether it is in the tech industry or elsewhere) in this day and age. So even though it turned out my basic C4D/Deep Learning needs mixed with my budget constraints means I should look into scraping by with casual PC parts in the meantime, I'm 100% committed to purchasing from Puget when I'm ready to buy the professional PC configuration that I will need soon enough thanks to my experience. We continued with the conversation and DJ was just as engaged and fully invested as before in helping me figure out what specific details I should be on the look for and it was invaluable, thanks so much!

One of the best customer experiences I have had with any commercial outfit.

First class product combined with exemplary service (both pre and post sale).

You will pay a bit more but well worth it. Highly recommended.

Wow. This computer purchase was completely differe...

Wow. This computer purchase was completely different from all previous computer purchases. I have primarily designed computers and laptops at Dell and Lenovo websites in the past. They're OK. But so many times problems arose, and the difficulty in finding someone to talk to was maddening. Not to mention the hours spent trying to disinfect the computer from all the bloatware.
Now I'm in a position to spend a little more to get a great system. I've done this at least 15 times over the past 20 years (I have raised 10 kids), and 15 times I've had to grit my teeth and spend a week of my life trying to get the new computer to work right.
Enter Puget. Ordering a computer from Puget was an incredibly satisfying experience. Here's how it went down:
1. I looked at several custom computer review sites on the web and after checking the best-rated sites settled on Puget.
2. I built my dream computer on their website and submitted it.
3. I got an email from one of the designers at Puget within a few hours. He wanted to clarify what kinds of programs I was going to use the computer for. I gave him a rundown.
4. He suggested that the video card i had picked was a bit overkill if I was not interested in gaming, but only P-shop and Premiere video editing, and other programs requiring less video-processing intensity. He suggested a good, but less expensive one.
5. He asked how important noise level was (not much). He recommended faster but noisier 2TB D and E drives (a little less expensive) but a good low-noise case (a little more expensive). There were other details we covered as well, but I'm running out of space.
6. A few days later I received an email with the pictures of my system, including infrared photos showing heat diffusion at idle and at full load. One more day of testing, then ship.
7. I decided to buy a new high-def 27" monitor from Amazon while I waited. What a revelation! To be able to email the same guy who helped me put my system together, who wrote several of the web articles I studied, and to be able to ask him about how well various monitors will play with my new system. Extremely helpful. Not the least bit put-out by a non-techie with questions. Sweet...
8. I received my new system and new monitor on the same day. Putting this computer together was a joy. The packaging was even a joy. Every step Puget thought of what I might need and prepared me for it. Too much to say, but I'm enjoying my new computer absolutely completely the first day I turned it on. No crapware to remove. It just works. It's perfect.
9. The man who helped me at Puget did recommend one upgrade, that being a 500GB solid-state C Drive. I can't recommend this highly enough. Sooo fast! Nearly instantaneous boot-up. I wonder how many thousands of hours I've wasted waiting for my computers to boot up...
10. As far as the noise recommendations: This computer is literally silent. I have to look under my desk to see if it's on! Not sure why it would need to be quieter than this?
11. Regarding the downgrade on the video card: This beast opens and processes my 25MB RAW photos in Adobe PS nearly instantly. Haven't gotten to video editing yet, but I have no doubt that Puget hasn't led me astray. Just looked back and re-read our ten emails.
12. Just outstanding! They really got to the bottom of what I needed, and taught me along the way. Really a pleasure. I am a very, very satisfied customer. My next computer will definitely come from Puget.

If I could rate Puget Systems higher I would! I simply love this company and I feel very grateful to have found them. I am currently on my second PC from them and couldn't be happier.

Pros:
- Reliable, fast response, best customer service I ever seen.
- Puget Systems does not add bloatware to there computers. Meaning you won't have computer with useless junk on it. Just the operating system you ask for and things you actually need.
- Puget Systems really listens to you and they do not try to up sale you with add-on parts that don't fit your needs or budget.
- When you order a PC you can watch the process with updates on there website so you know what's going on every step of the way while it's being built which is pretty cool because it's nice to see what's finished, what part are in order, and thermal pictures of your PC to show you where most of the heat is at so they can configure the fans properly to reduce heat in your PC.
- You can upgrade your computer you bought from them for free as part of there lifetime commitment to you as a customer and they'll even clean the dust out if you ask! So if you need a new video card and a power supply they can put it in for free. Great if your local if not it depends on shipping and handling costs.
- If you got a problem with your computer they actually care even after the computer is sold. Also a one year warranty and parts from Puget Systems is included. They also email you to check up on how your PC is doing after you use it 6 months or so to check if you're still satisfy with your purchase.
- Best benefit I found is if you're local like me you can always drive up to there place of business and avoid shipping and handling cost.
- Products they use are tested for reliability so there not going to sell you cheap unreliable motherboard, power supply, etc... They only sell parts for computers that they have tested a lot and feel strongly about when it comes to parts being reliable.
- If you call and talk to a sales rep and you have no clue about computers or what each part does they will explain every part and what it does and how it helps you when it comes to your needs in your computer you're trying to build. So you can also learn about computers parts and know which part you should spend more money on and what part you really don't need to.

Cons:
- Can take up to couple week since they have to build your computer and sometimes they have to get a part if its not in there inventory at the moment. With that being said this isn't really a con for me but, had to put something!
- If you're not local I assume things might not be good when it comes to upgrades or issues with your computer due to shipping and handling cost.
- They can be tad bit expensive if you're on a low budget depending on your needs of course. Nice thing though they will be honest and at least tell you the price and try there best to find best way to work with your budget.

These guys are awesome!!! I took my laptop to them with a screen issues, the next day they called me and said it was fixed , only thing that was wrong with it was a loose cable and they didnt charge me anything for fixing it. They could easly say it was something else and get some money out of me but they didnt !!!! We need more people or businesses honest like that !!!

I have built literally hundreds of systems for work, friends, and family. When it was time for me to upgrade to a new computer, I ordered all my parts from Amazon and the nightmare began (refurbished instead of new, parts DOA, missing components and so on). After multiple returns I decided to price out having the computer built. I came across several sites that seemed to have great prices but a quick glance at the reviews showed a lot of unhappy customers. I came across Puget Systems and was floored with all the great positive user reviews. After going through the sales process and build process, I can say that I am out of the computer building business. From here on out, I will refer everyone to Puget Systems.

Built a custom system on their site that was coming in more expensive that I wanted. William reviewed my configuration and requirements and made a few smart alterations that brought the price down $500 to within my target budget.

I like the ability to follow the workflow checklist (and see the benchmark scores, thermal images, and finished system pictures) as my system was built, tested and shipped. I was also impressed with the binder containing custom documentation specific to my build. Will not hesitate to recommend Puget to anyone in the market for a computer!

Excellent custom PC makers. Great quality parts, wiring, and packaging. Impressive level of service offered (great and fast advise on my build, clear visibility into stages of assembly of the machine). A service rep called me a month after delivery to check in and see if I had any problems. Only negative thing to report is that there's a high price tag attached to their services, but I believe it's a fair price for the high quality experience and product they offer. They've earned my trust.

I am thrilled with the custom desktop computer Puget Systems assembled for me.

This desktop, built around their Serenity small form-factor configuration (micro-ATX size motherboard and case), is tailored to exactly meet my needs as a photographer who makes heavy use of Adobe s Lightroom, Photoshop and other allied applications. Some of the key attributes I wanted and found in the Puget Systems machine:

A top-end Core i7 processor, sixth generation. That is currently the i7-6700K with a base clock speed of 4 GHz.
500 GByte SSD to be the boot drive and contain my executables and current working photography files.
2 TByte 3.5 drive for bulk data file and image file storage.
Expandable for more drives: this machine can accommodate one more 2.5 drive and two more 3.5 drives.
16 GBytes of DDR4 RAM with room for an additional 16 GBytes.
A mid-range video card with 4 GBytes of VRAM (my card is based on the NVIDIA GE Force GTX 960 processor).
Plenty of USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 ports (eight and two).
Sufficient power supply (650 W) to support all that future expansion.
A quiet machine. Who wants to sit alongside a vacuum cleaner when trying to optimize photos?
All in a handsome case that measures approximately 9 wide x 12 tall x 14 deep.

As I started my search, I checked carefully with the Big 3 PC companies (you know them). What I found:

Few systems that supported any level of customization. Increasingly, these vendors want to sell pre-packaged systems.
For systems that did allow some level of customization, the machines I configured inevitably came up short on one or more key attributes:
o Still shipping fourth generation Core i7 processors, rather than sixth generation.
o Shipping sixth gen Core i7 but not the top of the line i7-6700K.
o Option for an SSD but limited to 256 GB.
o One SSD plus one spinning drive maxes out the system.
o Very limited power supply, say 250 W max.
o No discussion of system noise.

I considered building my own system but did not want to take on the integration job. A Google search for custom PC builders lead me to Puget Systems. I discovered a custom system from them would be in the same price class the best systems I could configure from the Big 3 but would meet 100% of my design goals for performance and expandability.

Some of the highlights of my experience with Puget include the following:
Their website has a trove of knowledge. I found white papers on system performance for photographers, specifically outlining the performance needs of Lightroom and Photoshop. (There are papers for CAD-folks and others, too.)
Their pre-sales support is highly responsive, knowledgeable yet unobtrusive (no annoying pop-up chat/sales windows.) That person efficiently answered my questions and helped me tune the configuration that produced a better system than I might have initially ordered.
Their build process is totally transparent: once my order was placed, I could follow its assembly from parts staging, to assembly, to burn-in, to QA and finally to shipping.
Puget puts your system to a demanding burn-in test and performance benchmarking with all the data made available to you. Great way to confirm the build, weed-out infant parts failure and trap issues before the machine leaves their facility.
Great care in shipping. Box in a box, custom Styrofoam corners, heavy-duty corrugated boxes. Everything came through in fine shape.
Delivery included a three-ring binder specific to my machine, with a USB flash drive to rebuild the machine to the exact configuration it had when it left the factory, and finally DVDs with OS and other software that s installed.
Speaking of software, a nice clean build: not a spec of bloatware. What a difference from the last few systems I ve purchased from the Big 3.

If you are looking for an entry-level notebook PC, any of the Big 3 can serve you well. If you have more demanding needs and do not want to compromise on those needs, I urge you to talk to Puget Systems.

In a world where customer service is a thing of the past, they provide it in spades. I bought a custom built PC and a laptop and have been really impressed with the quality of the product but more importantly the responsiveness and deep knowledge in answering my questions.

Puget has the uncanny ability to take whatever input you can give them - your budget, what you'll be using the machine for, what types of apps you'll run, etc. and suggest a machine that matches them perfectly. Then they'll build it for you, take pictures of it along the way, and send it to you WITH all the extra hardware, CDs, and other stuff you might need one day, all with no bloatware.

And they're super friendly and informative to boot. If you order something from Puget you'll be happy you did.

What a spectacular work ethic this place has!

What a spectacular work ethic this place has!

I called asking if they had a specific product, which they didn't carry.

I was in a bind and every shop/chain/vendor I had called was out of stock or didn't carry the product. The tech was able to do some google fu live while I was lamenting in the parking lot of the latest dead end. He not only found a suitable product to get me out of a bind; but one that is arriving in less than 48 hours.

He didn't have to do anything other than say sorry and hang up. But took the time to talk me through my needs and find a link from an alternate source. This speaks volumes for how the employee is treated by management and ownership.

My workstation is my tool. I needed a new one and could not find exactly what I was looking for until I found Puget Systems. They built me a custom computer that is high performance, silent and very cool. There is lots of room for expansion and it is beautiful inside the case. The customer service was great from help with evaluating my order to watching the building and testing process on their website. My machine was delivered safely and the packaging kept it safe. I may not need it, but Puget provides lifetime labor and tech support.

OUTSTANDING experience. Coming from Mac to PC for the power and flexibility and didn't know a thing. Puget Systems walked me through the build, saved me money and hooked me up with an optimal system. It's saved hours on my workflow. The communication was great from beginning to end. They should give lessons to other companies. They made the switch easy and even their packaging is superior. Every item that came to me had what it was and how to install on the bag. AND there was a binder with any questions, how-tos and more. Plus a thumb drive with original settings in case you need it. I can't recommend these guys highly enough. Truly an FANTASTIC deal on my system and unmatched service. I'm a huge fan.

I grew tired of not having a choice of how my computer is configured and started looking into a custom build. Puget Systems came highly recommended and now I understand why. From the initial contact through expert help in configuration for my specific needs, they are simply excellent! I've been using my computer for apx. 2 years now and it performs as specified and makes my photo editing much faster and a lot more fun.
Plus any time I have contacted them regarding anything, they have always been readily available and provided the kind of professional support that is the exception these days. All this and no bloatware!

The entire custom build process was awesome. Delivery was really well handled and packaging was super secure. The Serenity build I got is dead quiet. Would recommend Puget Systems to anyone looking for a custom PC.

I have always had the best service and my best computers from Puget Systems online. Today, I was able to meet a few people in person. Again, I am impressed. Thank you for your excellent service.

I've never received such incredibly good service! These people do business with integrity. They sold me the computer I wanted within my budget without trying to sell me expensive components I didn't want. I love my new computer and I'll be very happy to continue doing business with them in the future!

I am so impressed with my whole experience with Puget Systems. I was thinking about building my own but didn't want to go through the headaches of ordering parts, potential returning a DOA part, doing the system burn in etc. You know, too lazy! So off to the internet I went. Puget Systems doesn't have as high a profile as some other boutique builders and after my whole experience I don't know why! As I was trying to nail down a configuration that fit within the budget William was quick to point out things I could remove or downgrade to get under my budget and keep the performance I wanted. When I wanted to add different components he was quick with a response giving me the pro's and con's of the component. Once I settled on the build and submitted my order I decided to upgrade my GPU and William added it. No problem, no additional cost. You can track your system through the whole build and testing process. You can even see the names of the technicians doing the work as they progress. You can see the benchmarks as they do them. Even let you see the thermal and regular pictures of the system before it's shipped. When it arrived I gave the system a good going over. There are some really nice touches. A nice clear custom bracket that holds the video card in place. Nice soft foam packaging to protect the inside components. A real neat touch was the mounting of an internal fan on my case that was angled up towards the CPU cooler. They could have just mounted it in the fan mount in the front of the case. Everything was solid. They ship the PC in the case's original box. 8 thick styrofoam corner pieces protect that box as it's placed in a larger box. Even though the shipping company managed to make the outer box look like an accordion and there was a sizable gash in it on the bottom the original box was untouched! They ship all the original unused parts and manuals from all the components so you can add to or modify your system in the future. Love the binder you get with the system with all the benchmarks and other helpful information. I could go on and on about how happy I was to make my purchase through Puget Systems but if your in the market call or email them and they can help you out.

I am so happy with my new computer, and with Puget's customer service. My old Mac Pro tower died after 10 years of service and, after being pretty disappointed with the current state of Mac computers, I felt it was time to "jump ship" over to Windows. I am very comfortable running a computer and all that - but I lack the knowledge and experience to build one myself. It was a bit scary to jump over to Windows for the first time, but Puget made the process very comfortable for me.
Puget led me through what I needed (I do a lot of rendering, video work, etc.), got the order in, built and shipped the machine very quickly, all while keeping me up to date communicating, and checking in with me.
I experience no lag or slow downs and I am very impressed with what they came up with for me. All my programs open up in an instant and run very quickly.
I cannot recommend them enough to anyone needing a professional computer, built quickly but carefully.

I was looking for a custom computer for Photoshop. I searched the web and researched several online companies but kept coming back to Puget Systems. I was impressed by the lifetime labor and tech support, and their dedication to quality. I created an account and started working with customer service rep Jeff Stubbers. He helped me through the build and we emailed back and forth on several occasions to discuss the proper components and setup. He was very patient and was understanding of me wanting to keep the price reasonable. I finally order the computer and it arrived within 2 weeks. They provide a complete status report on your build as the process moves along, and even sent me a you tube video of a technician going over all aspect of my computer, so I was aware of every stage of the build. The computer arrived in great shape. The quality, attention to detail, customer support was all incredible and I would highly recommend Puget Systems to anyone needing a custom built computer. Very impressive!!!

I can't say enough good things about this company. Purchased two PC's from them about two years ago. One for school, one for my parents. Both PC's have been rock solid stable. Their phone and in-person support has been phenomenal as well. You can't go wrong buying a custom computer from Puget Systems.

If you're looking for a fantastic computer and service to match, Puget Systems is bar none, the best.

I had previously bought a laptop for my wife from Puget and couldn't have been more pleased, so when it was time for a new desktop, I didn't look any further than Puget. Jeff suggested a desktop based on my needs and after setting it up yesterday, I am "Wowed" again by these people and the desktop they built for me!

PS - Is it quiet? If it weren't for the power indicator light, I cannot tell that it is on. Seriously, you have to get your ear within an inch of the case to hear anything at all.

I have only just set up my new computer today, but everything has been fantastic from ordering to now. They kept me informed throughout the process and this computer arrived without any bloatware, just like they promised. It is also the quietest computer I've ever been around. You wouldn't even know it was on with your eyes closed. Fantastic.

This is the place the "pros" like me use! As a systems consultant, when my clients have hardware problems, or want machines built, this is where I send them. And this is where I have my personal machines built.

They combine the strength and depth of a large company, with the personal service of a small company. They'll fix the gaming machine your son built that doesn't boot. Or, better yet, let them build his gaming machine in the first place! You'll have a great, trouble-free machine!

Seriously, I'm impartial -- I don't get anything in return from them... except the peace of mind that it'll be done right, the way I want it, and on time.

Don't bother looking further: you won't find anyone near as good. Yes, it's a bit of a drive down to South Seattle, but it's well worth it.

Puget Systems was very responsive and helpful when I had questions about a new laptop I was configuring. The process was easy and there product line is impressive. I am also happy that it was built here in the US.

I can't say enough about these guys. Seriously.

I can't say enough about these guys. Seriously.

From start to finish I was constantly updated on my build and support was all over it any time I had questions. Also their prices were outstanding and they had the latest gear I was looking for (one of the only sites that had the 1080 ASAP).

The thing I liked most about it though was the insane level of detail these guys put into the build process. For instance there's a picture tab on the process screen, which I was just expecting to see some build photos of the assembled parts. But NO! I got not only BIOS screenshots, I GOT FREAKING THERMAL IMAGES of my new system both idling and under load! That's some next level stuff.

My new system also got to my house super fast and was packed like a pro. All of the extra parts were neatly arranged for me, as well as a binder with information about my new gear.

I plan on using this rig for years to come, but the next time I'm in the market I know exactly where I'm going. It's not even a debate.

From start to finish, the entire process was done ...

From start to finish, the entire process was done with the best customer support I've ever received from a tech company. Everything was done perfectly to my specifications, and within my budget. I will most likely be buying all of my future PCs from Puget, as the ongoing support and build quality is definitely worth it.

The best computer store I have ever used. I Purchased my last four systems from Puget Systems and they all work very well and come with no bloatware on them. Each one was custom designed specifically for my needs and they work wonderfully. Their support is the reason I stopped by to give a five star review it is phenomenal. My home was struck by lightning yesterday I called Support and told them that my ethernet port was fried and they immediately sent me a new one. I offered to pay and they said no they just wanted to get me back up and running. That is why my next system will also come from Puget.

I can't even buy a computer from Puget as I live in Canada, yet Jared was so helpful in putting me on the right course. Their website is also packed full of information on how computers perform with photoshop (which is different than gaming). If you're looking for high quality service for creative application or any computer, I'd 100% recommend giving Puget your business.

From start to finish the entire experience of purchasing a computer from Puget has been amazing. From sales, to order tracking, to build tracking to post-delivery support the whole team is about getting me what *I* want and not some mass-produced tin box.

As I type this my new computer is sitting next to me on my desk. It's the most powerful device I've ever owned and it's just quietly purring while under a load that killed my previous PC.

This is an absolutely amazing company who are 100% what they claim to be.

Sales response was superb. I received regular and prompt correspondence from a sales person, Wilson (via email) as I was selecting the components for my new computer. He even made suggestions on a reconfiguration that saved me about $800. The select-to-build software was also excellent. I could see what they had in stock, what was on order, and the exact status of the assembly. I got very nice thermal images sent, showing operating temperatures and cabinet details. When my new baby arrived, the packaging was perfect. In fact, it was so nice to unbox, i feel Puget needs one of those "unboxing" videos that people post on youtube. I use the computer for Photoshop, and even when processing very large files, this thing is soooo quiet! I mean really, really quiet -as in, the the first time I started it up, the light came on and I was convinced it didn't boot up/wondered if it was running. All in all, a dream experience for a custom order. After years of abuse from Dell, with their mongrel parts, bloatware and horrible customer service, I'll gladly pay more for a top-tier computer and a company that stands behind it.

It was time for a new desktop computer. I usually build from scratch, but I'm too old and tired to do all the research, and the frantic building required so you can test everything before the purchase warranty expires. One real advantage to building it yourself is that you're intimately familiar with everything, and there's no bloatware. So I wrapped my mind around buying a custom-built computer, and started surfing the web. Several places popped up, most of which seemed mainly interested in selling me something. Then I found Puget Systems. They seemed interested in building me a computer I could use.

Where do I start? This outfit is great! Just visit their site and read their stuff. No hype, just straight-forward medium-tech talk about what they can do for you, and how they really want to get from you what you'd like in a computer. And how they've done this enough that they know what works and what doesn't.

I didn't want anything fancy, and I wanted a minimally-configured machine to which I could add components (disks, graphics card, etc.). I selected their Spirit model. They understood. I was able to order a machine that ended up costing only a few hundred dollars more than if I'd done it myself, without all the hassle, after a few-message email conversation with their support people. Then it was two weeks from order to delivery. And guess what? It works just fine, and as advertised. Thank you, Puget Systems.

And it's fast! I upgraded from a quad-core, 2.67GHz, spinning-disk system (ca. 2010) to a quad-core, 4.0GHz, all SSD system. Windows 10 boots in <23sec, compared to >60sec for Windows 7 on my old box. Now, as soon as I get used to Windows 10...

Would I do it again? In a heartbeat. I cannot recommend them more highly. It has been a pleasure doing business with Puget Systems.

This was an awesome company to work with. I knew what I wanted and it wasn't some factory built machine. But I couldn't find anyone in my area who had experience and was willing to custom build a computer for me. A little searching led me to Puget Systems. I gave them my specifications, they asked questions of me and answered my questions, and between us we came up with a machine that fit my needs perfectly. They were there throughout the build process keeping me informed on the progress of my machine. They told me about all about the extensive testing they did. And when it was finished they did a very thorough job of packing it for shipment. The machine arrived without a scratch and included some very well thought out documentation. I had no trouble setting up this machine and it's worked perfectly ever since I first turned it on. They followed up a couple weeks later with a phone call just to make sure everything was working properly. No question that next time I need a new computer I'll go back to these guys.
