From the outside the hotel looks very comfortable and nice. Beach and water are fantastic. The hotel needs a renovation, especially in the restaurant al shamal. There were too many guests and you had almost no space. The food does not taste at all and is usually offered cold. The selection was also very small (not comparable to eg Cove Rotana in RAK. Water costs extra !!!! 20 Aed / 500ml bottle (about 5 Euro) .The rooms were nice and big with balcony, but unfortunately not The staff is friendly but incredibly scattered! Check-in was a disaster, until we got our room we had to talk for a long time .. Since nov 2015, per room is extra 20Aed per night extra, supposedly taxes from the authorities of Ras al khaima, which the guest has to fork out ... At 8 days are about 100eur extra! An absolute impudence! Would I recommend this hotel? NO!
