Review of planet honda

Hi,

Hi,

Here you go again! Another bad experience with Planet Honda Rt 22 dealership.

I bought a pre-owned certified Honda Accord Ex 2011 from Planet Honda in June 2013. The car looks good and it just had roughly 16k mileage on it. Everything went fine except for not getting the owner s manual at the time of purchase. However, the dealership gave it to me later after several requests. .

I took my car for the first time to the dealer for oil change and routine checkup in Sept 2013. At that time, they told me everything was OK. I took my car for second time (appointment schedule by dealership itself). Now, during this visit they are saying that car rear brake pad is in red zone (i.e Requires Immediate Attention). I argued with them saying how come brake pad goes bad so fast. I understand I put 11K mileage on it since I bought my car with highway mileage (90%). This car I have been using for my personal use only. The dealer representative told me that it s a wear and tear part so it can get worse soon so just want to ask
1. Are they certifying the car when they know the brakes are going to last only for few months?
2. I understand, it s wear and tear part that cannot be covered under either Powertrain or non powertrain warranty but buying certified pre-owned car should at least last for one year. How could I trust them when sales person told me that I won t have any problem for at least one year when I bought this car?
3. I happen to talk with different people on phone (service advisor, service manager, used car manager) but still I am not satisfied with what they say. They told me that I have to pay to fix it, which is going to cost me $200 plus. What s the use of paying dealership fee?
