Don t know why there are two results given when looking up this hotel (same address and all). My review was originally posted there- as was another negative review.

Short Version: Don't let the immaculate appearance of the hotel (inside and outside) fool you- the service is bad and there's something about the people that work there, that just seems "off".

There are likely other places to stay at that will be more welcoming, just as clean while offering the same comfort, if not better and have more to offer for what you pay.

Long Version: The hotel is spotlessly clean and it is comfortable. Aside from that, most of my review is negative.

Everyone in our group is of color ( I'm South Asian/ West Indian and the others are African American) but I noticed that there was a difference in the way that the people there treated me and the way they treated my friends. They were nice to them and their kindness towards me seemed forced. It s a bit weirder because most of the staff are clearly South Asian and African. I also think asking questions about the parking fee (because I checked in early Saturday morning and wanted to know how I would be charged for parking as I was checking out on Sunday) or maybe being dressed in what seemed like "weird" costumery for a nearby event was not to their liking. I even said hello/ good morning/ the applicable greeting- with a smile, only to be greeted coldly or not at all.

Upon check out, I asked to pay for my parking separately from my friend and noticed that they tried to charge me for two nights of parking. I was told by the woman at the desk, at the time of check in, that I would be charged for one. The man at the desk seemed hesitant to believe me and called over a valet- who scanned my ticket and he said nothing was showing up. I was not about to be charged an extra $50.74 for a service that I didn't receive. But the man at the desk did change it and charged me for only one night of parking. I feel as though they thought I was lying.

The manager refused to make eye contact with my group as we stood in the lobby while waiting for our vehicles to brought out. When I went to get the key from the valet after he parked my car, I kindly said thank you but again, received a cold response. Then as we went to our vehicles, the manager offered my friend help with her bag (she said she didn't need it and would later ask/ tell me "why didn't they help you? you needed it more"). None of the three valets standing there, offered me any assistance- even though my suitcase was four to five times the size and weight of my friends bag. In my periphery, as I lifted my suitcase, I could see one of them step forward a bit but not a word/ motion after that. Thankfully I was taught to do things on my own and didn't need their help.

Overall, I personally would not recommend this hotel as I felt down right unwelcome here. But if you must stay here, may you have a better experience.
