My 2015 Chevy Equinox caught on FIRE due to mechanicall work completed by the Service Department. My daughter and I were both in the vehicle however we got out just in time. When I initially contacted GM and the dealership they both would not acknowledge the incident until I got a Fire expert to investigate the cause and origin of the accident. Once it was proven that then faulty work had been completed the dealership gave me $5k credit towards another vehicle (I had to file with my own insurance company so I gave them $12k). I did not sue them for the PTSD claim (still have nightmares) nor get an attorney. I just wanted another car that compensated me for the inconvenience. Ryan the GM as less than considerate, yet our Salesman Kristopher James, whom Im sure did NOT get a commission off of me worked tirelessly to find me a vehicle. He was AMAZING. I would no longer be with GM or Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet if it wasn't for Kris. He has integrity, he is not about the commission, he just LOVES helping people get into the right vehicle.
