Would not recommend. I had some fun times at UTA but I m soooo glad I only went there for a year. Horrible education (tbh) compared to UT Austin. It was honestly easier than my high school. I was in for rude awakening when I got to UT (Austin). The dorms were alright. Occasionally would smell. Oh and our ceiling tiles collapsed because there was a water leak that they refused to fix no matter how much we complained. Meal plan and the MAC were the only good parts of this school. And of course the legendary Dr.Saxe. There were multiple stabbings while I was there in 2015-2016 academic school year. The surrounding area is really ghetto. Stay vigilant! Also campus becomes a ghost town from Friday 3pm until Monday 8 am. At least the cowboys aren t that far from y all!!
