Had a great time here. Staff was pretty active. The 3 hours I was there, I paid $3 to feed giraffes (some stupid woman cut me in the line, but the lady selling the lettuce very nicely gave me double lettuce to make it up to me), paid $1 to feed some budgies, watched the alligators get fed, had a cheeseburger at the zoo restaurant which was expensive but tasted good, and bought a souvenir coffee mug at the gift shop. Missed out on feeding the goats (they have specific feeding times), seeing the wolves (they were hiding pretty well), and buying a funnel cake (cart was closed fsr). Entry is a bit expensive, but if you're not going every week or anything crazy like that, it's not much different from going to the movie theater. Hippo exhibit was the only one being worked on, so didn't get to see them, but not a huge loss I guess. The layout is very straightforward and the map they give you when you pay for entry is pretty good, so it's hard to get lost. They've got bathrooms practically every 5ft, and all the ones I used were very clean and had no lines, but they all had air dryers instead of paper towels which was kinda bleh. All in all it was fun though, as long as you don't mind little kids running around everywhere, and standing in a couple lines here and there for extra stuff.
