A few months ago I bought 8 - 8.8 lb. bags of Royal Oak Hardwood 'Lump' Charcoal. Unfortunately, each bag was at least half-filled with coal-dust and coal chips. These were all too small to even stay on the charcoal grill and it was a real mess. There were indeed a few 'lumps' in each bag but it was less then a pound per bag, most usable pieces were smaller than a standard charcoal briquette product. I also tried to 'contact' them from the website but it is a dead-end link. I am not impressed with this, the first purchase of their product that I have made, and I grill a lot, all year long. My suggestion to others, try another brand.
