The hotel is still going through a renovation but ...

The hotel is still going through a renovation but this really wasn't a hindrance for us except for elevator usage. We booked a king studio suite and was given a renovated room. It was a very spacious and comfortable room. The issues that we ran into were 1. Given the wrong room number so we had to walk what felt like miles with limited elevator usage while dragging luggage and backpacks through the hotel back to the front desk and then back to our real room. 2. They compt'd our breakfast for all the trouble but the buffett selections would have cost us $15 each when it should be free for everybody as it is blah at best and free at a Marriott. Thanks for comping us watery eggs for Sunday morning breakfast. 3. We attempted to order dinner from room service on a Saturday night. Called 3 time and it went to voicemail requesting our name and room number. I left a message at about 5:30pm and we never got through and never received a call from them to place an order. So Sunday morning we were starving after only snacking on chips and jerky the night before. So we were eager for breakfast only to be disappointed by the options. There was no one making omlets to order as was advertised. Would I stay here again? Yes for the room and balcony only. I would verbally check my room number and expect to have other food delivery and skip breakfast. Normally room service isn't something we use but after an exhausting day at the boat yard we just wanted showers and food. Oh and the warm cookies have walnuts and are ok at best. The staff was all very kind and apologetic for the errors and issues. I'll generally deal with a few issues is I know the room is comfy and it was. Happy decision making!
