Great main theatre with comfy seats & excellent view of stage from everywhere. Good value & interesting programme, with nice little cafe & easy parking or public transport (opposite bus station). Studio space has good film & comedy nights, but seats not so comfortable.

Great venue, small enough to feel intimate and part of the show! Strange wobbly seats, the whole row moved each time anyone fidgeted and no row labelling so hard to find your seat. Shame there isn't free parking too.

Great concert. Seats we were in were a bit unstable but seemed quite safe. Good bar staff. Pity the ladies toilet on the ground floor smelt of urine before the concert. Pity we were too lazy to report it.

Went there for the Nautical Archaeology conference, an unusual venue in that it's an arts centre. Staff very helpful and accommodating clean and tidy modern building overlooking the river Usk. Good buffet and overall pleasant experience.

Attended one of the studios. The handrails alonside the steps to the tiered seating area did not seem very secure. Seating is on a first come basis as opposed to being allocated. Not good if you have mobility issues and end up having to sit at the back. The front rows all had reserved signs on them. I assume that there must be some way of reserving seats but this was not clear when booking the tickets. The toilets were clean and staff were friendly. Prices of drinks were reasonable for this type of venue.

They have a great mix of things going on at the Riverfront that will entertain all ages. They produce a six monthly pamphlet letting you know what events/shows/movies are coming up. This pamphlet isn't just a quick list thrown together either. It is very comprehensive in it's description of each event. The auditoriums, theatre and cinema I personally found to be very ambient and comfortable. The staff are eager to help everyone and ensure you have a good time. The cafeteria could be upgraded a bit and offer a wider choice on their menu but as it stands right now it is adequate. All in all this venue is a credit to Newport and I frequently can be found in there at a show or just popping in for a cuppa.

First time in the venue and it was great. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Balcony seats were brilliant, the band were entertaining and the drink prices not too bad either
Will be looking to see what else is on more regularly now.

One of the nicest smaller venues that I've visited. The Riverfront entertain a wide variety of artists, both original & tribute acts. Shows put on by both local amature drama groups as well as touring shows. Pantomimes every December into January.
School holidays nearly always have some form of children's entertainment and they show films during half & end of term school holidays at a much reduced price to the big chain cinemas. A licensed bar on the first floor for evening shows while there is a lovely cafe on the ground floor that has the most pleasant outlook across the river Usk that runs through Newport.

Well done to The Riverfront for showing "Meet Me at St Louis" the wonderful musical film starring Judy Garland. I never thought my 16 year old, (who loves the film), would ever get a chance to see an original Garland movie on the big screen and never thought I would either! It was just like being back in the 40's when it would have been screened. Please can we have more classics shown....particularly more Judy Garland. Thank you Riverfront for fulfilling a dream!

Great to be able to see more individualistic films. Friendly staff. Coffee bar needs a little more character and to be less draughty to be more enticing! Suffers from doors opening too often! Not quite so bad in the summer, but needs some thought about having a nice sitting out area!
