It's big and shiny and always very busy. The service is good. The staff are sweet and competent. I have to say it's rarely a first choice because I invariably come away feeling like I've paid a lot for not great food. Today I ordered steak medium rare and eggs. The plate was brought quickly, so it's a mystery why my food was cold. The potatoes were not really done and the whole thing was swimming in spattered pink grease. The steak was quite rare and It left most of it on my plate. I ordered pancakes which arrived hot. The waiter asked if I wanted a box for the steak and I said no, that it wasn't very good and it wasn't properly cooked. He looked alarmed but didn't stick around to chat and I barely saw him again. I didn't want to be stinky and I tipped him ok. So it's on me that I walked out almost $40 poorer and feeling grumpy.
