I had incredibly high hopes at Beringer. It was a place I d long longed to visit after my parents came through in 1980s and made lifetime Beringer drinkers out of our family. Unfortunately, immediately upon our arrival this afternoon we were met with a lack of acknowledgment despite our attempts for 10 minutes in the Rhine House and what could only be described as dismissive hostility by the woman in the Welcome Center. If hospitality is everything, Beringer has nothing. Our party left with nothing but disappointment and no inclination to choose Beringer Wines in the future. I expected better and was throughly let down. Choose elsewhere. We had remarkable experiences at Cosentinos, Bouchaine, Grgich, Rutherford Ranch, and Mumm.
