I had one late payment because I am a paint contractor who doesnt get much work in the winter and had a family emergency. I missed the payment about 2 or 3 months after I purchased the insurance if which I paid about $450.00. They cancelled my insurance then took a payment from me to reinstate but never reinstated and I didn't find out until I got a letter from L and I saying my license had been suspended. The refused to reinstate so now I have to come up with another $500 to pay for a new policy or close my business. Essentially I paid them $600 for insurance during my downtime. I just started getting leads and getting ready to start production and now I have no idea how I am even going to keep my business.
