The service department couldn't repair an original problem on an extended service plan item. I've had my bike in here three times since Feb 20th 2016; the service writer didn't write up the work order per my instructions and seemed to have an attitude of trying to blow me off like I was an idiot. They are rude and condescending when talking to me about the problems my bike was having, then the service manager tried to have me pay for part of the bill that also had various spelling issues on the work order. They also sent me on my way after checking out the charging system including checking the battery. The bike wouldn't start after only riding 9 miles from emerald harley, due to a dead battery! The service dept. couldn't or wouldn't troubleshoot my bike that was bought brand new with a 7 year extended warranty from harley davidson. After I had it towed home from emerald city harley, It had trouble codes, (DTC's) in the computer that also gives you the part number for what needs to be replaced. OK; HOW HARD can it be for an Authorized Harley Davidson Service Department to pull the codes and repair a bike I paid over $24,000 for? Do Not bring your bike to this service department, they just want your money in exchange for excuses. Very dissatisfied.
