An institution amongst British theme parks. Chessington has plenty of areas to explore from playgrounds to conservation areas and of course, the main rides that suit a variety of ages. Funnily, these were much tamer than I remember them to be, but it was great to see the excitement as my child got to be brave. As you'd expect, food and drink are mediocre and overpriced. Prices also vary and the same bottle of water is charged differently depending on if you buy it from a shop, kiosk, restaurant or vending machine. Also, you are well advised to buy fast passes or if you're staying at one of the resort hotels, to make use of the early access hour. Queues get exceptionally long. Other than that, lots of fun to be had.
