While the technician seemed to be a good guy they were the most expensive quote for a new Central Air, Heater and Water Heater from Daikin coming in a $16,900..wow! They have a program with "up to" a $5k rebate if you qualify(you need an energy audit which can take days) and 0% interest up to $10k if you want to wait weeks for approvals...no thanks because my Central Air was broken. From Climate Mechanics in Cherry Hill I got a 16 Seer Central Air with a 96% efficient heater plus Bradford White water heater..everything energy star for $8,600 after the $1,000 NJ rebate and installed in less than a week. I got other quotes and while both of these other companies were cheaper...Horizon(Lenox) was a few thousand less then Sanders and so was Hutchinson(Carrier dealer). I told the Sanders rep that their product Daikin has only been in the US a few years and was not comfortable with it due to the short track record...he said if I can't do Daikin then we can't do business...so be it.
