The Mercure Hotel Amsterdam City is a good hotel with a very nice hotel lobby, very new and elegant. The staff is very nice and happy to have fun, which quickly creates a relaxed atmosphere.
To the location I have to say that it is very well located. After a beginner's skepticism about traveling by car, I would be taught better. There were no problems to get to the hotel by car and if you still want to do some shopping, you can do it from here by car. The hotel car park is also pretty cheap over the weekend. Otherwise I recommend the metro. The station is also not far from the hotel and the ticket prices are reasonable.
The rooms are neat, clean and the bathroom has everything you need. Breakfast is pretty tasty only for hotel guests who have not booked it with me, around 22 / person quite expensive. Unfortunately, the fitness and sauna area doesn't offer very much here.

My conclusion is that I would like to come back again and can highly recommend the hotel for a weekend trip.
