Very pretty and kept nicely. Parents if you go with kids under 2, TAKE AN ERGO/carrier. Strollers are not allowed in the house. The house is a must see. So pretty and kept up. Cost of admission was very reasonable and gave you access to the grounds. Short walk from Pohick Regional Park. Note, no food around like Mt.Vernon, so pack snacks for the kids and yourself. The grounds are beautiful and big. A must see in Virginia and away from the traditional colonial visits. No long wait like Mt.Vernon.
