I am a tenant at the Troy Place Apartments location which is owned by SG Companies. I have to say that my wife and I are terribly disappointed with the experience that we have had thus far.

If I overpromised and underdelivered in an equivalent fashion to what we've experienced at the Troy Place Apartments and with SG companies, my business would fall apart quickly. I suppose it's nice to have a business that locks people into leases and creates a financial barrier to breaking the contract.

We were told that the clubhouse, pool, and workout facility would be completed months ago (2 weeks after we signed the lease actually). These were some of the key perks that swayed our decision to rent at the Troy Place Apartments.

We have now been renting 8 months at this complex and none of them are complete. I am quite certain that if the owners had a project that was 8 months overdue for their own homes they would not stand for it.

My wife and I are urgently requesting that more attention be paid to the property from ownership. Unless the apparent care and consideration made to the property is improved there is almost no likelihood that we will continue to rent from SG Companies.

I wish no ill will, and in fact, due to the benefits of location I sincerely wish that this property becomes a priority of SG Companies who owns this property.
