First Oakville Toastmasters 2245 is a very warm, supportive club that encourages everyone to participate and grow in their communication skills. Tonight was no exception. Everyone was prepared, we had a super impromptu speaking portion, we had an informative business session and we had a fantastic speaker and evaluator present. We learn from observing and trying different roles. One member did his first mini-speech and he was so informative about an issue that was important to him - mental wellness during Covid-19. There was laughter, seriousness, information shared and those who wanted to talk a little more stayed on after the official meeting was concluded. So glad I'm a member of this group!
