The Anne Frank house is well worth a visit if you're planning on coming to Amsterdam (just be sure to pre-book in advance!). It tells the story of Anne Frank and the thousands of other Jews who were persecuted during WW2 very well. Be prepared to spend about 2 hours for the whole tour.
