It gets busy. We arrived at about 10:00 and walked straight in but looking out of the window by 12:00 there was a very long queue. The French Impressionist are always crowded but the rest always seem OK.

I am lucky enough to be able to keep returning so I don't feel pressured into trying to see everything at once. My recommendation is to plan your visit in advance and decide what you want to see
