Update to Problem Below: Jay from Freightcom has since contacted me, reversed all the additional charges made in error and cancelled the collection agency. I appreciate his response and we've attributed this to an over zealous employee in accounting. I'm changing my rating and instructing our shipper to return to checking Freightcom's rates. If you have trouble resolving any billing problems I recommend contacting Jay for help.
Beware quotes aren t reliable and disreputable billing practices.
After receiving a competitive LTL rate we shipped on 3/16/2018. Received a bill for $141.19 which we paid. It included charges for Residential Delivery - $11.50 and Limited Access - $11.50.
Over a month later on 4/25/2018 they re-billed us, charging additional fees: Private House (Residence) - $40, Limited Access = $11.50 again.and Residential Delivery Surcharge - $11.50 again.
I emailed Lee Richards on 5/9/2018 both invoices and asked why we were being charged again for things we had already paid? He responded I am having that checked, sorry, Lee and that was the last I heard of it until today.
We received a notice in the mail from a collection agency for the $72.05.
