Was worried my cat had a blockage and rushed him to Austin Vet Care around 7 PM on a Friday. A blockage in a male cat is dangerous, so I was pretty upset when I first arrived. The vet techs were so kind and acted quickly to triage my little guy. After determining that there was no blockage, they brought him back and let me know that the vet would be coming by to talk about treatment. It was a long visit (wait was about two and a half hours, tests and treatment discussion about an hour and a half) but I did come in right at shift change and there are obviously other circumstances to consider at an emergency clinic (RE: emergency) so I didn t mind waiting. They were very transparent about treatment options, let me know about additional tests they could run if I wanted (but made clear weren t necessary), and the final bill was actually less than what I was anticipating! I d definitely recommend Austin Vet Care for emergency services. Thanks for taking such great care of Julian!
