I checked in to Aulani Disney resort on Sept. 12, 2017 till September 19. My trip is combination of business and lesuier with the family. My first impression is the resort is too small when you think of Disney brand. Their are few characters spreads over the day and the kids have to wait in long lines to take a picture with one of them. The food is fr from being healthy and most of it are fried chicken, French fries, pizza, hot dog and Cesar salad.
The most important thing that ruined the vacation for me was the internet and the Wifi services. Since I checked in, the Wifi is too slow and I couldn't connect to my office to any work even when I plugged my computer through hard wire. When I inquired about the issue, they informed me that they are aware of the problem and they are working on it but noise fram to fix it. I had to leave my family most of the day and go across the street, at a coffee shop, and work there. Then when I asked to speak to a manager, they said that, it is their security system that prevent me from using remote connection but they will try to fix it but again no estimated time.
Finally after 4 days, I asked to be compensated for all the truble they put me through it and I asked for at least 10% discount on my daily room rate of almost $1,000 per day. They got back to me and offered only $200 for the whole week. When I asked to talk to a hotel manager in person, they said there is no manager and they gave me a web site to file my comlian.
Overall, this resort don't guarantee their advertising services and no way is worth the daily rate of almost $1,000 they charged me. So disappointed.
