Jonathan King Review of The May Fair Hotel
++ Central location.
++ Central location.
++ The Polish housekeeping lady was adorable. Thank you for taking care of my shoes and keeping everything tidy.
++ Silent.
++ Great bathroom.
++ Fully equipped bedroom.
++ Extremely modern gym (the very latest Techogym devices).
+- Odd in bathroom closet. No problem, though. Everything remained clean and dry.
+- Pillows were too thick to my tastes (but that's quite subjective). Instead of 4 fat ones, I would have enjoyed to have a mix of both thicknesses.
-- Apart the doormen and 2-3 people, lots of the staff employees were quite arrogant with some superior attitude. Overall not very pleasant. Same with the waitress at the restaurant (good food, though).
-- I didn't like the cheap curtains in my room. The fact that you are in a court with no view other than your neighbors, I would have appreciated to have additional veils as curtains. Instead, there was only a cord up/down type curtain (yes, the type you might find in a trailer). Absolutely substandard, at such a price tag. Furthermore, the sunlight comes through, around the edges. Meh.
-- Room looked old-fashioned, with soso carpet. Very clean, though.
-- Charging 12.5% additional fee on room delivery orders for clients having food allergies? Is this some kind of a joke?
