I don't understand why or how they take appointmen...

I don't understand why or how they take appointments and handle walk-ins. When I call and make a 10 am appointment for a simple oil change, I'm not going to be happy when my car still hasn't been touched at 10:45. And they didn't even worry about letting me know, I had to go and ask for this information when I noticed my car sitting in the parking lot. Nonsense.
