The theatre venue is very special and nice. Hamlet, though, was a bit disappointing. The enforced super-progressive gender re-assignment of the roles was just weird and distracting. It could be an idea to also shorten the play a bit. It is definitely recommended to lend pillows and chairs as the sitting is quite uncomfortable, though very authentic and atmospheric. The cash only policy at the food/drinks stands was quite surprising given the fact that the theatre is in the heart of London.
