I had a dislocated right hip and was brought in to the BBRMC at about 9 pm on May 1, 2014. The nursing staff who received me were exceptionally kind, able, and helpful. They listened to me and gave me clear and gentle instructions on how to lessen the pain while they worked. After X-rays were taken, the anesthesiologist put me to sleep and worked closely with the ER doc while he was doing the reduction. Both were attentive and very effective. When I awoke shortly after the procedure was over, I had no pain, and full mobility. Amazing!
I stayed the night in a spotless, comfortable, well equipped single recovery room, my vitals were checked in the morning by a very competent and pleasant nurse, I received a check-over by a physical therapist who was well informed on my condition, and was released. During the whole procedure I was treated in a kindly and personal manner. I couldn't have had a better experience.
