My husband bought this charcoal at Drug Mart in Westlake Ohio. We were tired of other brands not becoming hot enough or hard to light. The charcoal is a natural charcoal. Wood that has been previously burned. Larger blocks, not chunks of charcoal.
Using lighter fluid, on the charcoal, the fire was hot quickly and lasted longer than any other brand we have ever used.
The best surprise was our food that was cooked on the grill with this charcoal had a "wood flavor" that was delicious. We grilled chicken and hamburgers. "Delicious flavor" We didn't need to add wood chips for smoke or any additional products. Just the charcoal. I would highly recommend this product!
