Really cool to see where so many scientific discoveries are made, as well as some pop culture references. This is where the pulsar reading was made that's the cover of the Joy Division album Unknown Pleasures.

One thing to note is that parking is at the bottom of A VERY steep hill and you have to walk (though I'm sure they can arrange transport for people with disabilities). Pretty much everyone is exhausted and out of breath by the time they've reached the top.

The VIP tour is pretty neat but they don't bring you any closer to the actual bowl if that's what you're hoping to do. You do, however, get to see where all the research is done and their fascinating system that's a mix of computers ranging from new to the 60s!
