I have stayed in this Apartment complex 8 years ag...

I have stayed in this Apartment complex 8 years ago when it was still under Al-Habtoor Management at the time we were pleased with the size of the Apartment and the convenience of the location which was close to everything.
This time our experience was less pleasant (and we rented 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments on the same floor) for the following reason:-
1) The first 3 bed Apartment we rented had a smell of sewage and couldn't be used. We therefor asked for a different apartment on the same floor as our other family members and were upgraded (at our own expense to a huge 4 bed apartment).
2) The second apartment (2 bed) had a half meter wild mold spot on the ceiling of the living, which resulted in a moldy and moist (fishy) smell through out the area.
3) 3 TV sets were not functional with channels not showing at all!
4) The balcony chain in the the 2 bed apartment was broken and had to be fixed, it was fixed promptly when we warned the reception that we had adventurous young children who might play in the balcony.
5) We tried to use our Chromecast and link it to the WIFI to entertain the young children but couldn't due to the network not allowing such a functionality.
6) The drier in the 3 bed apartment was not working but was repaired quickly.

All in all...
The problems were due to bad supervision and lack of checking by maintenence team who should check the Apartments regularly (with a check list) to ensure functionality and integrity of all parts of the property instead of waiting for tenants feedback to repair.
There also needs to be an upgrade of the Entertainment systems to meet the needs of post 2020 families requiring access to smart tvs and smart devices for entertainment (we dont require subscriptions to services but want to access our own services from anywhere on Apartment's TV).
