Living in Southern California and hearing such good things about this aquatium i was disapointed with lack of the wow factor. Long Beach Aquarium was all around more nicer with more exhibits. Monterey Bay was over crowded and the exhibits were lacking depth for what they were suppose to be known for. The area of town is very congested and hard to get into and park. Public transportation is extremely slow and takes forever to get to and from the aquarium which also effects your experience. I am glad i went to the aquarium because now i can say i have been but i will not be returning.
