I tried to make an appointment on October 4th to bring my car in for a basic check engine light diagnostic/estimate.

I was told they can't get the car in until at November 25th at the earliest. That is nearly two months from the day I tried to get the appointment. Definitely don't go here if you are in any kind of hurry.

Apparently the airbag recall (which was announced nearly 4 months ago) is still having an impact on their service department to the point it is delaying scheduling for over 6 weeks.

If that's the case, perhaps hire some temp airbag specialists who only do airbag jobs? I don't know how they can expect someone to just not drive their car, or maybe they just don't care about losing a few customers since they are such a large dealership? No idea.
