Arwa Sherman Review of Mayo Clinic

I never really consider leaving a review on something as large of an institution as Mayo. What changed my mind was the commercial they've recently been advertising: the young man yelling over the top of the cliff in frustration, only to be relieved of fear, stress and anxiety as he arrives to Mayo Clinic. It put a lump in my throat-as I came to you after MONTHS of being repeatedly ignored, abused and gaslighted by local doctors. Mayo Clinic was my last hope; and why wouldn't it be? It's Mayo. I was admitted and to be fair, they did "some" testing, but not nearly to the degree or specificity that I needed. (e.g. I had burning feet/toes and they only did blood work. No nerve conduction tests or anything similar.) I had a TON of blood drawn and that was it. No one could be bothered to push the envelope and dig deeper into a potential less common cause, disease, etc. If it didn't show up on a blood test-that was it. I was released back into the faulty medical system that I fought to get out of and Mayo told me to "come back once it gets worse". I expected far more from your medical facility. To make matters worse, one a doctor now sees that you even attended Mayo in any sort, they automatically dismiss you because "If Mayo can't find it, it doesn't exist". I needed you to help me, and you left me to suffer.
