They delete popular connections and put pendolino. A few years ago it was like that with trips to Krakow and Gdansk. I don't like EIP trains because they replaced connections made with "normal" long-distance trains. comfort is similar and even lower compared to EIC compartment cars and the ticket price is very high. For the price of 2nd EIP class you can buy the first EIC where it is very convenient in the range. EIP time is better by a few minutes because it stops at fewer stations.
